Interventions to Individuals, Families and Groups

Interventions to Individuals, Families and Groups

In this Assignment, please apply concepts learned related to providing interventions to individuals, families, and groups. You have been asked to look at specified populations and apply interventions that work for the respective at-risk population. In this paper, you are asked to justify interventions for specified groups as well as differentiate why specified populations respond the way they do to interventions. In this analysis it is also imperative to understand the delivery of interventions and examine skills the professional must possess to deliver the required intervention to the individual, family, or group.

Part 1

Examine two interventions for working with individuals; examine two interventions for working with families, and one intervention for working with groups. After this examination please differentiate between these interventions.

Part 2

Evaluate the success of interventions examined in Part 1.

Part 3

Choose a particular intervention examined in Part 1. Then assess the skills the professional must have in delivering this intervention. Also include in this assessment how values and ethics of the professional may enhance or negate some of the success of the intervention applied.

Cultural sensitivity of the interventions to individuals, families and groups should always be observed.
