Immigration is one of the most prominent concerns in the United States, more so, the policy measures undertaken over the years have prompted heated debates over the matter. Shortly after assuming power, Donald Trump instituted executive orders on the immigration policy. They include; border security which demanded a physical wall for operational control on the U.S- Mexico border. Expedition of foreigners without court trial and third banning the entry of nationals from Muslim countries to the U.S for 90 days as a measure against terrorism(Felter & Renwick, 2018).
