In the United States and most of the nations that have heightened the drug policies, drug dealers get long sentences to a maximum of life imprisonment. In the past United States administrative regime, the term war on drugs was used until the Obama administration where the term was dropped and replaced with drug policy. While drug and substance abuse cause more harm to the abusers, the abuse has a significant adverse effect on the society, the nation and ultimately to the entire humanity.
