Freedom from want incorporates two works; an oil painting by Normal Rockwell and a corresponding essay by Carlos Bulosan. The two pieces were inspired by President Roosevelt’s speech when he talked about Four Freedoms including, the freedom of speech, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
