This week you learned about ways familial situations affect adolescents. In some circumstances, family issues contribute to delinquency; in others, adolescents dodge deviant behaviors. Please complete the following:

  • Investigate the Department of Human or Family Services in your State or County.
  • Determine what criteria they use and how they remove a battered child from a home.

Summarize your findings in an assessment report. Share the agencies procedure and as well as your opinion on how this system operates and any suggestion you could add to improve these services.
