You will develop a leadership development plan for your career development as a leader in health services administration or in another related field. Like a business plan, it should express your desired goals (both short and long term), your objectives, and the resources you need to be successful in achieving your career goals.
Your career plan paper should be 3 pages in length in addition to a title page and a reference page, according to APA Guidelines. Please submit this APA paper to the Dropbox by the end of Unit 9 on Tuesday, by 11:59 p.m. (ET).

Today, the healthcare environment requires leaders who are extremely strategic and flexible, and quickly responsive to changes as they maintain the organizational focus. As a leader in a healthcare organization, I have several desired shorter term career goals for my organization. One of my short term goals is to provide create a 24-hour free telephone that will offer immediate access to our healthcare services (Rothstein & Burke, 2010). Secondly, I will create a province wide network of district, regional and provincial districts as well as community hospitals. Finally, I will ensure that there is increased funding within the organization to reduce waiting times for surgery.
