ANSWER PREVIEW
Introduction

Cannabis, commonly known as marijuana is a psychoactive drug extracted from the Cannabis plant for recreational and medical purposes. This drug has tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) as one of the psychoactive ingredient and more than 65 other forms of cannabinoids. Cannabis is often produced in the form of marijuana, hashish or hash oil which is a solvent extraction from hashish or marijuana. The use of this drug induces a series of symptoms including euphoria, impaired reaction time, dry mouth and increased hunger. Smoking the product also stimulates a rapid onset of various symptoms and a peak of THC concentration after 15-30 minutes after consumption. Research shows that this drug has a high dose-response relationship and its use is highly associated with social impact and health. During the 1980s, studies show that the concentration of THC in the preparation of cannabis was around 2% and today it is approximately 20% which has increased the effects that the drug has on the user (Canada., Kenny & Nolin, 2003)………………………..WORDS 2623
