The National Security Council is a forum that has been associated with the president for the purpose of security and foreign policy matters. This council started early in 19th century under President Truman. Therefore, National Security Council is based under four basic strategies in order to preserve security. They include defense, détente diplomacy, deterrence rank, and, disarmament (Jordan, 2011). These four basic strategies can either be used differently or in combination. Therefore, our topic will base on two of these four basic strategies. The two of these four which I am going to discuss are disarmament and defense. The main reason for this is because they have played a vital role in improving National security
