If the contracted company is to provide internal business services such as accounting, this type of outsourcing is known as back office outsourcing. If on the other hand the contracted company is to provide services related to customers, such type of outsourcing is known as front office outsourcing. If outsourcing is done from a neighbouring country rather from the company`s country, this is known as nearshore outsourcing. However, if it is carried out from within the company`s country, it is known as offshore outsourcing. Some of the services that are outsourced include e-mail services, call center services, among others. Often, most of the tasks that are arranged could be availed by the employees but most of the companies prefer to outsource due to the advantages that come with along with outsourcing.
