Commonly referred to as John F. Kennedy or JFK, he was the 35th President of America. He ruled America between 1961 and 1963. JFK was the youngest person to serve as a president in America and also the first president born in the 20th century. He supported communism in the western hemisphere. The two most important crises of the Cold War and the Cuban missile crisis were during his reign. These crises did not involve or support diplomacy, but it was clear that only diplomacy would offer solutions to the problem.  At the age of 46, Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas (Goethals, Sorenson, & Burns, 2004). He became the youngest president to die while still in office. He is however ranked highly by public reports among American presidents.
